About Me

My practice centers on telecommunications, technology, real estate and business transactions. I have a pragmatic and deal-oriented approach, focusing on creative and detailed structuring of transactions to suit my clients' needs and goals. My specialty is drafting and negotiating outstanding contracts for my clients. I also have substantial national and international transactional experience.
I have a wide variety of clients, including innovative technology and telecommunications clients, local real estate developers and owners, mid-sized businesses in range of industries, international hospitality companies, homebuilders, and individuals and small businesses with transactional needs.
I am a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar Association, and the Maryland State Bar Association. I am also a member of the King County Bar Association, and a former member of the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and D.C. bar associations.
I am a board member on the Issaquah Schools Foundation, and I am a member of the Tufts University Alumni Admissions program.
I was born in Colorado and raised in Minnesota. I graduated with honors from both Tufts University in Boston (in 1991) and from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (in 1994).
I relocated to the Seattle area in 2006 from Washington, DC, where I had lived for 12 years. I am an avid reader and an active sports person (skiing, basketball, and cycling). I live in Bellevue, Washington with my wife and two young children.
